WUMI didn't start as a company. It began as a bedtime story for my son.
From a small idea, lovable characters, a whole world full of adventures, and a vision gradually emerged: children's books should be affordable for every family.
We believe that reading, drawing, writing, and exploring together shouldn't be a luxury. Every child should have access to stories that foster imagination, strengthen friendships, and create quality family time—regardless of income.
Over the past few months, we've invested countless hours in developing the WUMI world. Together, we've created characters, developed six unique regions, planned the entire learning journey, designed our first books, and launched our bilingual website in German and English.
Digital books for downloading and printing at home must cost no more than €2.00.
Now comes the most important step.
With your support, we want to distribute the first printed WUMI books to kindergartens free of charge. There, we gather valuable feedback from children, parents, and educators to make each subsequent book even better.
But our vision extends far beyond the first books.
We want to publish new stories every month, collaborate with authors and educators, develop board games, produce videos, and one day bring WUMI into children's arms as a cuddly toy.
Every contribution brings us a step closer to this dream.

🤝 Why we need your support
A children's world like WUMI doesn't happen overnight.
Besides my full-time job and the precious time I spend with my family, I invest every free minute in this passion project. But many of the next steps—professional translations, illustrations, printing costs, and new books—cannot be financed alone.
With your support, we want to:
📚 print the first WUMI books,
🏫 give away free copies to kindergartens in our region,
🌍 publish all content in German and English,
🎨 develop new coloring books, stories, puzzle books, and learning books,
❤️ and continue to grow the WUMI world together with children, parents, and educators.
WUMI shouldn't just be our story.
WUMI should become a world that grows together with its community—full of imagination, friendship, and adventure.

As a family, we've already accomplished so much.
The concept is in place, the characters have been created, the worlds defined, and the learning path developed. Now comes the phase where we need funding to achieve our goal—creating the books.
